  • FALL CLOTHING SWAP-O-RAMA!
    11:00 am-2:00 pm
    10-15-2017

4602 N Western Ave, Chicago, IL 60625, USA

4602 N Western Ave, Chicago, IL 60625, USA

It’s fall, which means it’s time to clean out your closet and make room for new threads. Join us for a clothing swap at Esquina Chicago on Western Ave. (in Lincoln Square) to unload things you don’t wear anymore and maybe score a new item or two.

Here’s how it works: Stake out a spot on the floor and lay out the clothes you have so everyone can see your selection. Hang out, eat a snack, and peruse what your fellow swappers have to offer. *You don’t have to make a direct swap with another swapper.* If you see something you like, chat up the person who brought it and take it home. We will be donating whatever clothing items don’t get claimed at the end of the afternoon.

4602 N Western Ave, Chicago, IL 60625, USA

4602 N Western Ave, Chicago, IL 60625, USA

Whatever your ritual preferences or belief, we want to celebrate with you. Bring your favorite customs and costumes to our October BYOVinyl party and let’s celebrate with music, creativity, and maybe even some healthy ritualizing of our favorite dead musicians! Bring your own pumpkins or sugar skulls, carving/decorating supplies to our monthly record party¬†and enjoy some dark music as you create your masterpiece. We will have some autumn harvest libations and soul-cakes to help revive the spirit late into the night. Prizes for best costumes and most creative carvings.

Bring your favorite Halloween / Harvest Festival / All Soul’s / Dia de los Muertos music to share!

    Down into the cellar,
And see what you can find,
If the barrels are not empty,
We hope you will prove kind.
We hope you will prove kind,
With your apples and strong beer,
And we’ll come no more a-souling
    Till this time next year.
